OC YMF will be hosting a FREE Resume, Cover Letter, and Interviewing workshop on February 9th. This will draw students from the three schools in OC (UCI, CSUF, and CSULB) to help prepare them to succeed at their upcoming career fairs and as they begin to look for internships and jobs. Students will be sending resumes in advance for volunteers to take a look at prior to the event and review with the students at the event. We will also be looking for volunteers to give short presentations on:
-What comapnies look for in resumes and what makes a good resume?
-What is a cover letter and how to put together a successful one?
-Tips and tricks on preparing for and conducting an interview
If you would like to volunteer to help out with any of these aspects or just come along to help provide insight to the students during the breaks in the program please email me at Eric.Walker@Stantec.com.
